About Us
The Baby Footprint has been a family-run business since it opened in 2010. In April 2015, Natasha Beekman took over the company. Since then, it has grown from an online-only boutique with about 15 brands to a comprehensive online store plus a brick & mortar location with over 300 brands! Located in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada, Natasha and her husband enjoy watching their three children grow alongside the families and babies they serve!
As a small business, Baby Footprint appreciates your support when you shop there. They promise to make customer service their top priority and offer quality brands & products at a competitive price, all tested with care in the Beekman home.
How did we get here?
When Natasha’s first child was born, she found the garbage produced each week was exceeding the limit for her town pick up. Every day a bag of dirty diapers went from the nursery to the garbage bins. Every day she saw how much TRASH was created. She knew a change had to occur! After several weeks of research and shopping, a starter kit of cloth diapers arrived. At first, she was overwhelmed with the diapering options, but that changed quickly to being impressed with how easy it was! A combination of cloth diapers and potty training undies were used for over seven years on their three children saving money and the planet!
Cloth diapers were just the first component of trying to lead a more eco-friendly lifestyle.
Leaving a smaller footprint on this Earth has become an ultimate goal for Natasha and her family. As her children have grown, she has found more ways to be more eco-conscious and expanded store offerings reflect that. Zero waste products for the entire house became a fascination for Natasha 12 years ago, as well as finding products that were unique for parenting!
